Norvay Gaff Cutter ref 106
Gaff cutter 36.7' x 12.6' x 6.6' SSR

One of the most remarkable stories of boat building I know. Designed & built by Moens, Risor, Norway in 1964, for an Exeter owner.Brought to England as completed hull & decks for fitting out by fanatical owner who spent the next 24 yrs playing with her in his own workshop. Sold by us unfinished on his death & completed by present owner in south coast yard & launched 1988.

It would be difficult to build a better wooden boat. Superb design, long keel, canoe stern. Teack & iroko planking on heavy grown oak frames all copper & bronze fastened. Laid teak deck, vrnished coachroof & cockpit. Tiller
Gaff Cutter rig on massive pole mast. Lister diesel 3-cyl 36 hp. 4 berths. Forecabin with V-berths presently workshop & stowage. .

Animmensely powerful indestructable deep-sea cruising yacht
