Worked the Arran iles, Ireland, owned by the 0'Hallorans, Connemara from 1936 until sale to present owner In 1996, still working. Sailed to Brittany and rebuilt by present owner. 1-1/2 larch Iron fastened to sawn oak 8x3frames. 4 tons lead ballast inside. Topsides replanked, hull refastened and recaulked, some new frames planking below wl; new deck, beamshalf and beams, stanchions, bulwarks, stem, keelson and floors. Steel keel shoe fitted. This very distinctive hull desing features a straight stem and pointed stern with rudder hung in the steeply raked stern post; tiller steering! Flush deck with low deck structures, following-original fish hold and hatch apertures. Re-rigged to Edgar March's drawings and other sources to original 2 masted standing lug rig on keel stepped solid pine masts setting 1500 sq 1 sail. Running b'sprit & bumpkin. Single stays, runners on tackles. 1 mast winch, pair of Barlow sheet winches._ Mainsail 800 sq'.mizzen 500sq'; working jib 200sq'; light jib 400 sq' all in Clipper Canvas by Jimmy Lawrence, 1997. Lister HRWM 110hp 6-cyl diesel with Lister hyd single lever control box to centre. line 3-blade prop gives 7knts +. 180 litres diesel In 2 s/s tanks. 2 x12v batteries on 24c system. 5 berths.
