Built by Watson & Neakle, Peel, Isle of Man ln 1934 as a sailing fishing boat to the traditional local design. Converted to a yacht ln 1952. Recent refit in present ownership. Long keel, straight stem, canoe stern. Steel plate rudder, wheel steering with emergency tiller. 1 1/4 larch planking, bottom 3 planks recently replaced in mahogany, copper fastened. Some i nt. pig iron ballast, leavy steel shoe. Varnished mahogany coach-roof sides, all painted ply deck.
Cutter rigged ketch on varnished, deck tabernacle-stepped masts & spars. ,Iostly recent s/s rigging. Mainsail, mizzen staysail, jib, genoa & storm jib, ,some recent, sets over 400 sq' making her a good motor sailer. mast winches + pair of sheet winches.
Ruggarini (Watermota) 1994 27hp diesel with Hurth Saildrive box gives 7 knts. 2 x 15 gali diesel tanks. Elec & hand start. 2 x 6v + 1 x 12v batteries.
4 berths. 6'6" V-berths in fore cabin, fore hatch over. Port heads compartment with ST sea toilet, stbd rockers. Bulkhead to saloon cabin with ,port dinette, table drops to make a large double berth; stbd galley with gas cooker, 2 sinks, fridge & good work surface.
