One of those beautifully built yacht designed and built by the Kroes family in Holland in 1957. Long keel with marked sheer, raked transom stern Clinker planked mahogany all copper fastened to steamed oak timbers @ 5.5" c on an oak back-bone. External iron ballast keel. Wooden floors. Sheathed ply deck.Varnished coach-roof, dog-house, spacious, self draining cock-pit.
Masthead bermudian sloop rig on deck stepped varnished mast, varnished slab reefing boom, spinnaker pole. S/s rigging, single spreaders, standing back-stay. 2 brass cock-pit winches. 3 mainsails, genoa, working jib, storm jib and spinnaker.
Yanmar 1GM 8hp single cyl diesel engine, single lever controls to centre line 3-blade prop gives 5 knts. 6 gall flexi tank aft. 12v battery.
4 berths.V-pipe cots forward, 12 gall galv water tank under sole. Bulkhead in way of the mast to saloon cabin with port and stbd settee berths, lockers behind. Aft port galley with gimballed Taylors paraffin cooker and sink with hand pump. Blake sea toilet available, not fitted.
