One of many of this successful yacht, designed & buiIt by Franz Maas In Holland in 1961. Carvel edge glued & fastened iroko planking, rivetted to galvanised steel frames on an oak back-bone. Teak over ply deck on spruce deck beams. Varnished mahogany coach-roof & large, self draining varnished mahogany cock-pit with tiller steering, high coamings give excellent back support. Oval coach-roof windows in chrome bezels re-bedded 1996.Double doors & sliding hatch entrance. Ext. iron ballast keel, bolts relaced in 1989. Underwater hull surface Cascover 'sheathed from new which gives added strength & worm protection

Masthead sloop on keel stepped varnished spruce oval section mast, single spreaders, standing back-stay, Hood roller headsall system. S/S rigging, i-eplaced In 1988. Roller varnished. boom, whisker & spi poles. Pair of mast winches, pair of new Lewmar self tail sheet winches. 3 year old 'mainsail genoa on roller, spinnaker & storm jib.

Sabb 8hp 1-cyl diesel as fitted In 1961, total rebuild in 1996. Variable Atch 2-blade centre line prop. gives 5 knts. Electric & hand start. 2 x 12v batteries on 12v system. 12 gall s/s cock-pit fuel tank.

5 berths in surprisingly spacious Interior in all dark rich varnished mahogany joinery. V-berths fore Cabin with i n-fill to make a large double, coach-roof hatch over.
