Designed by Frenchman Fred Goeller and built by Comptior Nautique, La Rochelle, 1939. Interesting hard chine design with cut-away fore foot and short over-hanging counter.Carvel planked pitch-pine on sawnoak frames. 1990 sheathed ply deck with varnished mahogany coach-roof, king plank and toe rail.
Iron ballast keel, oak floors. Tiller steering in self-draining cock-pit, port off-set entrance hatch to cabin.
Bermudian schooner rig on keel-stepped varnished pine pole masts with gaff fore sail and bermudian mizzen. Galv standing rigging wit talurit terminals, runners on levers.Mainsail, foresail and jib by Ratsey 1988, storm jib.
Mitsubishi 22hp 3-cyl 1990 diesel with single lever control Hurth gear-box with belt drive to centre line 3-blade prop gives 5.5knts. @ .25gph. 20 gall steel tank under stbd cock-pit seat. Electric start. 2 x 12v batteries on 12v system.
