Pain Clark design built by Kings of Burnham in 1911. A quality yacht of her day withlong keel and canoe stern. Clear flush deck with heart shaped cock-pit, entrance hatch integral with sky-light all in varnished teak. Carvel planked teak hull with some replacement planks in larch all copper fastened to steamed oak timbers. on an oak back-bone. Lead ballast keel, wood floors with some ferous strap floors. Consierable refitting over past years including recent replacement of some planking and refastening of hood ends , floor bolts and new keel bolts in 1981.
3/4 Bermudian sloop rig on vanished keel-stepped mast with varnished slab reefed 17’ boom. S/s riging, double spreaders, jumpers over, standing back-stay, runners on Highfield levers. 2 mast winches, 4 cock-pit winches. Mainsail, genoa, 2 jibs, ghoster, spinnaker, storm jib and trisail.
Arona 15hp 1-cyl diesel, recon and installed 1997. Twin lever controls to off-set 2-blade prop. 2 x 12v batteries. 10 gall copper tank under cock-pit.
3 berths. Heads fwd, fore hatch over. Fore cabin in way of mast with port berth, lockers to stbd. Double doors to saloon cabin with port and stbd settee berths, water tanks under, table between.
