Harrison Butler 'Omega' design, built in Southampton in 1946, rebuilt in Devon 1991-5. A slightly larger development of the Englyn design with all the famous HB advantages of rig & hull balance making a delightful yacht to sail . Long keel with a lovely heart-shaped transom stern & transom hung rudder. Carvel planked 1” pitch-pine, copper fastened to steamed oak timbers. Deck in 5/8"teak over 3/8” ply. Varnished mahogany coach-roof & cock-pit.

Masthead bermudian sloop rig on keel stepped varnished mast, 1995 s/s rigging. Standing back-stay. Pair of tufnol c'pit winches. 300 sqI sail in mainsail, working jib, 2 genoas & storm canvas

Yanmar 2GM 18hp 2-cyl 1995 diesel. Single lever controls to offset 3-blade prop gives 6 knts. 25 gall plastic tank in the cockpit. Manual & elec start. 12v battery.

4 berths. Fore peak cabin with stbd fixed berth, port pipe-cot, port sea toilet. Bulkhead to saloon cabin with port & stbd settee berths. Port aft chart table, stbd galley with gimballed alcohol cooker, sink with hand pump from 25 gall plastic tank. 6' head-room. All varnished interior.

Compass.sounder., log, VHF. 2 x CQR anchors, chain & windlass. 100' warp. Avon dinghy, warps & fenders. This superb little yacht has been totally rebuilt by a cabinet maker & Is in sparkling, better than new condition. Absolutely exquisite. Featured in Boatman article.
