Designed & built by Dickies of Tarbert in 1930. Long keel straight step
canoe stern, flush solid teak deck. Teak & pitch-pin hull planking on massiv oak frames. Low bulwark all around. Varnished panelled deck-house engine room coaming aft of it, Wheelhouse over funne. Varnished teak hatches sky-lights. Original deck fittings.
Twin Gardner 5 cyl diesels with Gardner boxes, usual Gardner wheel control
Large fuel tanks either side of engine room. Water tanks below cabin sole fw
Original Gardner L2 single cyl diesel auxilliary drives a 32v generator
coupled to a large geared bilge pump with valve chest to separate bilges. 4-c
diesel 240v generator in sound proofed box. Full head-room in spacious
dedicated engine room with water-tight bulkheads. Exhausts vent through
over-head funnel.
Minimum 5 berths.-The accommodation is divided on either side of the engine
room. Deck saloon with superb rounded corner window glass.Seating for 4. Door to gal ley behind with gas cooker, sink etc. Step up outside into wheel-house with excellent visibility, Chart table, engine controls & guages etc. Spir, stair from deck-saloon down to lower fwd accommodation. Large cabin, now open up into original fore crew cabin with seating each side. Heads & bas compartment port of stair, dressing room stbd of stair. Aft deck hatch to an accommodation. 2 berth cabin fwd, corridor aft to 2 berth cabin, single berside cabin stdb, heads & shower to port. all in poliched mahogany panelli full head room
