Designed and built by Wm Osborne, Littlehampton, in 1931. Long keel, straight stem, transom stern with transom hung rudder. Wheel steering with cables.. Carvel planked Oregon pine, copper fastened to steamed oak timbers at 6"c, doubled across the hog. on an oak keel. Iron internal ballast. 4 portholes each side. Long low coach-roof with oval portholes. Sheathed pine fore deck and side decks, dropping down to large aft cock-pit and aft deck, original windscreen over the fore part of the cock-pit extended aft more recently to enclose the whole cock-pit with standing head-room.
Perkins 4107 4-cyl 47hp diesel engine with single lever controls hydraulic gear-box to centre line prop. S/s fuel tank under aft deck. 12v battery on 12v system.
4 berths. V-berths in fore cabin, bulkhead door to port heads compartment with sea toilet and basin, stbd lockers..Large saloon cabin with 5’9" head-room, port dinette convrts to double berth, stbd galley and surface. Bulkhed centre door to cock-pit, bench seat across the aft end, side doors.. Engine under a box against the bulkhead. Taylors diesel cabin heater.
Sounder, VHF, anchor and warp., fenders and warps. This old boat has been a live-aboard vessel for many years and currently has a marina berth.She is very original and appears sound with 5 steamed oak timbers doubled in 1998. The engine was reconditioned and installed in 1998, still requiring fuel connections and electrics. Would continue as an economic live-aboard or refit into a sea-going vessel.
