Built by Smith Bros, Goole Ltd. in 1973/4. Clinker planked larch on 1" x 1.5" steamed oak timbers at 6"c. Long keel with transom stern, raked stem, small bilge keels. GRP sheathed ply decks. Varnished mahogany coach-roofs fore and aft of centre wheel-house, doors each side, sliding hatch over. Railings all round with varnished capping rail on s/s stanchions. Mast with steadying sail can be lowered on the windlass. Aft boarding ladder to swim platform. Wheel steering on Morse cable.
Ford 2715E 6 cyl. 6 litre diesel, 108hp @ 2400rpm. to 21" prop. 2 x 125 gall tanks. Simms pump to double filters. 1gph @ 5knts. 2gph @ 9knts. 1000 miles range. 2 x 12v batteries, 2 alternators on engine start/instruments circuit + domestic circuit to cabin lights, pumps and fridge.
